The Mourouk Ebony Hotel, situated in a coastal village in the southeastern part of the island, is home to a Creole-style hotel complex that comes straight out of a picture postcard. Flanked by deserted sandy beaches, the hotel sits against a hilly landscape. It overlooks a huge turquoise lagoon, which sharply contrasts the deeper blue winding channel that shelters a multitude of uninhabited islands.
When your journey to Rodrigues takes you to the Mourouk Ebony Hotel, do not expect to find the cool glamour or luxuries of a 5 star establishment. Rather count on priceless, genuine warm-hearted Rodriguan hospitality.
Built on a hill, the hotel faces a vast lagoon with various shades of blue and turquoise contrasting the pale yellow of the sandy beaches, which remind one of African Savannahs.
The 30 rooms are divided into 10 units, each in unique Creole style, with a red roof, a very own veranda and a small garden - thus adding to the original atmosphere. New at the Mourouk are the so-called "Océane" suites, which provide an even closer approach to the real Rodriguan lifestyle. Built in an exclusive and secluded setting, they overlook the beach and guarantee a tranquil environment.
Their interior focuses on simplicity, providing the perfect basis for relaxation, undisturbed intimacy and closeness to Mother Nature. Perfecting this image is the very caring staff, an enjoyment in itself and well worth mentioning.
At the foot of the hill on the beautifully vast beach, the Mourouk Ebony hotel provides a full range of water and land sports as well as a dive centre and the Osmosis Club. The dive centre and Osmosis Club lie at one end of the beach, while on the other end, the beach restaurant can be found.
The gastronomic experience finally is a love story between organic vegetables grown on the premises and seafood freshly caught in the lagoon, served either on a terrace with a view or directly at the beach. This fine cuisine of carefully prepared island dishes ensures wonderful memories of an extraordinarily delightful island vacation. To ensure even longer lasting island impressions, the cook will be happy to share his recipes with you.

Children from 2 - 11 years pay 17 Euro per night
Staying in a communicating room (max. 2 Chlidren)
Children staying in a communicating room get 50% discount per child on the 1/2 DBL adult rate.
Child sharing parents' suites in extra bed
Children sharing parents' suites get a discount of 50% on supplementary adult bed. This offer is only for children under 12 years.
PAYMENT
-You will be required to make a deposit at the time of confirming the booking. It is usually 30%. However, the deposit amount will be decided by Maurisun Adventure & Tours and you will be notified at the time of booking.
-Sometimes a higher deposit is required, because airlines or service providers request full payment, and certain hotels require higher advance deposits, especially during peak season. For some group tours, an additional interim payment is required.
-Outstanding balances must be paid not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival before your arrangements with us commence.
-Full payment will be required immediately for last-minute bookings.
-Credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge.
-If payment is not received by the due date, we will assume your reservation is a cancelled one and will retain the deposit. We will of course endeavour to contact you first.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
These are the General conditions for cancellations. Special conditions, if any, will be enclosed with your invoice:
-Cancellation within 30 days: 20%
-Cancellation within 14 days: 60%
-Cancellation within 7 days: 80%
-Cancellation with 72 hours: 100%
N.B. Conditions might change for some accommodation options and periods, i.e. peak season (mid December to mid January) 45 days: 100%.
Whenever there is a case of overbooking or whenever the service provider fails to provide rooms, Maurisun reserves the right to accommodate the traveller in a similar type of accommodation and standard, if not better.
CANCELLATION BY AGENT
In the unlikely event of the cancellation of a package trip by the Tour Operator, the agent will:
-Propose an equivalent trip and/or package to the client.
-If the client chooses to refuse that option, then the agent shall refund the total amount already paid by the client as well as a cancellation fee equivalent to the one, which he would have claimed if the client had cancelled his trip.
-The only exception to the above would be cases of force majeure.
TECHNICAL PROVIDER AND FINANCIAL SECURITY
-The agent that you have booked through is considered the Technical Provider.
-Maurisun Adventure & Tours Ltd is registered as Travel/Tour Operator in Mauritius.
-This license is issued by The Tourist Authority of Mauritius and constitutes a guarantee that the operator is to uphold the laws and regulations set by the government to secure your vacation.
-Our license number is: 0191.
-The accredited agent may hold a license in the countries of origin providing a further guarantee for vacation packages.
-Maurisun cannot be held liable for any omissions, misprints or misspelling that might occur in the production of this brochure and price list.
